The Kickstarter campaign, in numbers
€923,201 against a €100,000 goal, 14,358 backers, funded in ten minutes: what the campaign page still shows and what the studio promised after it.
The Kickstarter ended with €923,201 pledged against a €100,000 goal from 14,358 backers. The studio's own newsroom says the goal was reached in ten minutes. Backer rewards ship closer to release because the artbook is part of the package.
Last checked: 28 October 2026 — Kickstarter project page and the studio newsroom post of 27 February 2026.
The Kickstarter for Wonderful Neoran Valley is the most solid set of numbers attached to this project. It is also the only place where the studio's own ambitions are written down in public at length.
The numbers
| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| Amount pledged | €923,201 |
| Funding goal | €100,000 |
| Percentage of goal | 923% |
| Backers | 14,358 |
| Campaign outcome | Successfully funded |
| Funded on | 29 March 2026 |
| Time to reach goal | 10 minutes (studio newsroom, 27 Feb 2026) |
| Backer comments on the page | 654 |
| Campaign updates posted | 11 |
| Project location | Milan, Italy |

The page also shows a dollar figure of $1,031,451 next to the euro total — that is Kickstarter displaying a converted amount for visitors on a different currency setting, not a second pool of money.
Why ten minutes matters
A goal reached in ten minutes does two things. It proves demand before a store page exists, and it removes the campaign's middle act — there is no stretch-goal drama, no "we need 48 hours to hit the last milestone". What is left is a straight production funding round dressed as crowdfunding, which is why the campaign page reads more like a design document than a pitch.
What backers were promised
| Reward element | Timing stated by the studio |
|---|---|
| Official artbook | Delivered closer to the game's release |
| Other Kickstarter merchandise | Also delivered closer to release |
| Beta access | Backers get exclusive Discord channels, not a public beta |
| Lucca merchandise | Separate from Kickstarter rewards, and will be sold online later |
The FAQ is explicit that the artbook is the reason physical rewards ship near release: printing a book for a game whose content is still being built would date it immediately.
What the campaign said the game was
The Kickstarter story is worth reading for one reason: it names the influences honestly.
- Monster collectors: Pokémon, Shin Megami Tensei.
- Roguelites: Slay the Spire, Balatro, Inscryption.
That list is not marketing filler — it maps onto the systems one to one. Pokémon and SMT for the roster and the conversation; Slay the Spire for the queued, telegraphed combat; Balatro for the item-driven build layer that the studio later described as "Jewels will be what most defines your build"; Inscryption for the horror framing and the meta-narrative.
How the campaign's promises have aged
| Claim | Campaign (2026 Q1) | Today (Oct 2026) |
|---|---|---|
| Roster size | More than 70 Neoran | 85 creatures |
| Platforms | Not specified on the campaign page | PC confirmed, PS5 and Switch 2 per FAQ |
| Release | Not dated | 2028 |
| Demo | Not promised | None available |
| Engine | Not named | Not named |
Nothing in that table is a broken promise; the roster grew and the release gained a year. But it is the reason this site keeps dates on every page: a campaign page from February and a store page from October describe different versions of the same game.
