Quick answer

The studio's own FAQ covers five things worth knowing now: a 2028 release window, PC plus PS5 plus Switch 2, four launch languages, Neoran that do evolve, and a Discord that is open to everyone rather than backers only.

Answers in the order people actually ask them, each with the source that owns the answer.

When does it come out?

2028. The studio's FAQ answers "When will the game come out?" with "Sometime in 2028." Steam still says "Coming soon" with no date and no price.

What platforms?

PC via Steam is confirmed by an actual store page. The studio FAQ also names PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2. The press kit fact sheet adds Xbox, which the FAQ does not mention. No console store listing exists for any platform yet.

What languages?

Steam lists English (full audio), French, Italian, Spanish – Spain and Japanese (full audio). The FAQ says English, French, Spanish, Italian with more possibly later. The press kit says English, Italian. The languages page puts all three side by side.

How much will it cost?

No price has been published. There is no price_overview in Steam's data, which means the store page has not opened for sale — not that the game is free.

Is there a demo?

Not on Steam today. The store page offers a wishlist button rather than a demo download, and no public playtest has been announced. See demo and playtest.

What kind of game is it, exactly?

The studio calls it a Roguelite Monster Collector, and Steam tags it Adventure, Indie, Strategy. You explore biomes, recruit talking creatures through dialogue, and fight on a seven-turn timeline you can see in advance.

How many creatures are there?

Steam says 85 unique creatures at launch. The Kickstarter pitch said "more than 70". The studio has written up 14 by name so far, and published official portraits for six of them.

Do the creatures evolve?

Yes — the studio's FAQ says so in one word. The Kickstarter text names the Yakid as the Baseline Form of the Wakiza, which is the only worked example published.

Is it multiplayer?

No. Steam's category list is single-player only: Single-player, Steam Achievements, Full controller support, DualSense Controller Support, Family Sharing. There is no co-op, no PvP and no online component listed.

Does it work on Steam Deck?

No compatibility rating exists, and none can exist before release. Controller support is confirmed. See Steam Deck status.

What are the system requirements?

Steam publishes 8 GB RAM, DirectX 12 and 20 GB of storage, and leaves OS, processor and graphics blank. There is no recommended spec. See system requirements.

Is the Discord backers-only?

No. The studio's FAQ says the Discord is open to everyone; backers and beta testers get access to exclusive channels inside it.

Where does the game get its horror from?

The studio describes the look as a vibrant, playful 3D aesthetic clashing with horror inspired by low-poly visuals and VHS tapes. In the fiction, the horror comes from the Neura Clusters — places where the Flux stops flowing and builds up.

Who voices the leads?

Troy Baker and Ben Starr are credited by the studio. Which character each one plays has not been stated in the material reviewed for this page.

Has it been at any events?

Yes — a booth at Lucca Comics & Games 2026, 28 October to 1 November, in Sala Canova. The studio's newsroom says the development team is there.

Will the merchandise be available online?

Yes. The FAQ says all merchandise except Kickstarter perks will eventually be sold online. The studio links a merch shop from its own site.
